In anticipation of his upcoming record Day Dreamer, pianist/composer/producer Jesse Fischer is sharing the video for “Nomads” featuring steel pan wizard Leon “Foster” Thomas. Dropping September 25 on Ropeadope Records, Day Dreamer finds Fischer exploring a more meditative, subtle approach when compared to his previous records, inspired by his new found status as a first-time father. The album features many notable talents such as Blue Note recording artist Takuya Karoda and recent Thelonious Monk Institute graduate Godwin Lewis. “Nomads” is truly a Fischer original, featuring an attention-grabbing solo piano intro which evolves into a unique Israeli-/frobeat-Puerto Rican fusion.
